There have been ransom demands

I must send cinder toffee and cigarettes to ensure her safe return. I'm not sure if I should negotiate with dog-nappers? I am sure there are laws about that or something

clicker train hostage taker to release Whippy dog on the correct day. Build up in small stages but maybe treat with toffees.

never ever leave the sofa and stay with Whippy dog all day every day

Look at it this way - every whippy needs an adoring grundparent to cater to their whims (one household of willing slaves is never enough ).

She is back now. So is puppy. He has wee'd on my floor out if excitement three times in the last 30 minutes. I daren't talk to him now
