I want to teach DDog to cover her nose with a paw while sitting up on her haunches ( begging).
She can " be shy " ( cover nose with paw) while lying down. She can sit up and beg. But how to combine? Tried asking for shy while begging and as I suspected she immediately went into a down and did it.
I imagine I'm going to have to teach it as an all new behaviour but how? I taught shy using a sticky label on her muzzle but if I try to do that in a beg I think that might confuse her.
Suggestions anyone??
