Frontline and a wet puppy

Puppy plays overnight in the garden and is always wet in the morning. I need to apply the frontline. Does anyone know if his night time antics will have the same effects as bathing him? can't bring him in over night, way too hot for that now.

Hi, if he is really wet then I would say yeh it would have the same effect as a bath would so could make the frontline less effective
