You've all been so kind when I've talked about my 2 cockers, the loss of one and the problems with the remaining one I thought I tell you how she's getting on.

My studio was also the dogs room and they were shut in there when they were alone in the house and at night. Rhea wasn't happy with this arrangement after her mum died so now I don't know how she's managed it but...

She goes everywhere possible with me and sits in the car happily waiting if she can't come in somewhere.

She has the run of the house when we're out and I've learned to live with a constantly snotty living room window.
She sleeps in my bedroom.
She has wet food after a life time of dry.
She's up on the furniture after a life time on the floor.

She is a very happy dog and I am being completely taken advantage of Grin.

Lovely post Smile, you both miss her Mum so you should grieve and heal together.
