Hello, need to cut up vet bed for crate tray and wash & dry before new arrival on sat. Should I cut to fit exactly in tray or with extra over the edges? Think extra will be more cosy but may attract chewing, whereas cut perfectly, leaves plastics edging exposed?thx!

I would say go large; firstly if they're going to chew they'll probably chew whatever the size and secondly, you can always make it smaller if its not working but you can't make it bigger.

Good luck with the new arrival!

Agree with previous poster, but also if new arrival is small and crate is biggish, might be worth blocking off part of the crate with cardboard box so the pup doesn't use part for toileting, but learns to hang on to avoid soiling bed/den.

Larger than you think, and more than one. One for the crate, one for the wash and one for the cupboard.
