Hi,
We have been thinking about adding a dog to our family and I would like some opinions from Irish Terrier owners please.
I grew up with an Irish Terrier who was a wonderful family pet and have very fond memories of her. However I also remember how hard she was to take out as she seemed to want to fight every other dog that crossed our path. My parents didn't get her until she was about 9 months old so I don't know if she had ever been socialised with other dogs.
I understand that they are unlikely to have lots of doggy friends and this doesn't worry me but, in your opinion, if they are socialised from an early age, can they at least be tolerant of other dogs?
