Long waterproof coat - recommendations?

Having just got soaked walking the dog, can anyone recommend a cheapish long waterproof coat?

My top half was dry and legs up to my knees were dry and cosy, but that gap in between was drenched.

Glad I cut the walk short it is absolutely bucketing it down now!

A drizabone mac , quite expensive but lightweight and last for years.

How about this one ?

Particularly popular with dog walkers and riders Smile

waterproof trousers?

pigsinmud · 24/09/2012 12:11

Thanks AnnoyingOrange that looks great.

I really don't like waterproof trousers. I always feel claustrophobic in them Confused

Waterproof trousers with thermal long johns underneath, very comfy and warm. Both cheap at Go Outdoors if you've got one near you. I bought the men's because they were on offer.

Perhaps my mistake with waterproof trousers is putting them over normal trousers. I could see that with thermal long johns it would be more comfy.
