I have a 2yo patterdale terrier x. He's toilet trained, not had any issues till now.

The past 3 days he's pooed in the same spot. The first two days he was shut in the room whilst strangers were here briefly, (paramedics as DS had fallen and bumped head, then HV the next day) so I put it down to anxiety, even though he's never had a problem before.

Today he was let out at 7.30am, 9.30am, and offered at 12pm (I had popped out for 2hours). He refused to go out. Then he went and did a big poo right where he had done the past days Angry just over an hour later. He usually let's me know when he wants the toilet, and goes when offered!

He knows its wrong, he slinks around with head down and tail between legs, and hides in his 'naughty' corner.

How can I make him stop?!

Sorry wasn't clear, I was out between 9.30-12. Tried to get him to go to toilet when I got back but he wasn't interested in going out.
