'Mummy, I just gave DDog the biggest lunch there ever was!'

So shouted DD (3yo) with glee this afternoon while I was feeding the baby. Dog very happy. Tupperware of kibble empty. Poo very runny (sensitive tummy at the best of times). DD has a new best friend. He followed her around all day! Didn't get any supper though, so is eyeing me even more dolefully than usual.

Bless! Happy doggie!

wait till your teenager doesnt like their meal and who knows what gets eaten by the happy dog!

tooearlytobeup · 19/09/2012 23:15

When my daughter was 3 she had a friend over for tea. They wanted to play at feeding the birds, but i wouldnt let them in the garden because it was raining.
I left the room for a minute and came back to find them throwing handfulls of kibble onto the living room floor while a very happy birdie pup hoovered it up! I thnk he enjoyed the game more than them

Puppy ate entire days worth of food, not just his entire days worth but the other two dog's food too, in one sitting last night. Stolen from a cupboard we didn't know he could open.

The local pet shop is closed on a Wednesday so I had to walk eleventy million miles to PAH to get more food.

We've had a runny poo day too Sad

You have my sympathy.

MummyWeatherwax · 20/09/2012 00:59

@Doin PAH deliver for free! It was a revelation to me. If you order £30, which for us is a couple of big bags of food, they bring it right to the door Smile

mine greeted me this morning by coughing spluttering and then producing an entire corn on the cob for me on the bedroom floor. DD(5) then shouts "oh mummy I don't think pimmsdog liked my left over lunch from yesterday" Shock

coffeeinbed · 20/09/2012 08:07

Corn on the cob can be lethal for dogs.
I'd be careful with that.

MrsZoidberg · 20/09/2012 10:41

I'm sorry OP but I'm still giggling over this from yesterday. Grin

The only food related incident we had was when Huskygirl was a pup. She was malnourished, had ricketts and was a very poorly girl. We were slowly feeding her up under vets guidance on special puppy food, but it wasn't quick enough for her, so she raided the Big Dogs' food. She had this massive round stomach by the time we got to her - it looked like she'd swallowed a beach ball Grin She was very quiet for a few days, but still hungry Shock

pimmsgalore · 20/09/2012 10:54

coffee pimmsdog has a routine vets check this morning anyhow and it was produced whole so am sure he is ok. DD has been severely scolded over the incident (I made her pick it up as she was the one who fed it to him) don't think she will feed him anything again without asking first as it was "yucky" Grin
