Can anyone recommend somewhere I can get a new dog bed from? He is a Labrador cross. My budget is up to a £100.

Slipper whereabouts are you? We have a large "Tuffies" bed (www.tuffies.co.uk) which we are looking to sell as our dog (greyhound and a right prima donna) won't use it Blush.

It's one of the flat ones (i.e. not a nest) with a think fleece cover. It's bloody lovely tbh and I'm fuming at the dog, but there we go.

I'm in Cardiff - let me know if you're anywhere near and might be interested. If not, Tuffies beds are really good anyway and they've got a few offers on the website.

Hugo & Hennie are great if you are after pretty fabrics.

TK Maxx sometimes have nice ones in but as with all things there it can be hit and miss! We got a lovely one for our dog for about £30, one of the soft structured ones, and it hasn't fallen to pieces like the ones before.

DIY :) Single duvet and a modified cover so you put the duvet in the cover, fold and then use either a large zipper or some oversized buttons to hold in place. Reversable AND washable, plus you can sandwich in extra padding if desired

Bronte Glenn and tuffies get my votes... comfy, tough, easy clean.

I use a hard plastic bed shell with three layers of vet bed. Our lab loves it, and it's so easy to wash and dry.
