Poorly third eye-lid

Springer pup had a slight eye infection several weeks ago. The vet did the cornea eye-drop test to see what the problem was and said he had a very tiny scratch and prescribed drops (along with the best of luck applying them!). We tried our best with the drops and the vet has subsequently said all seems fine with his eye.

However, his third eye-lid is still slightly over his eye. I put a photo on my profile but I'm not sure if it is very visible. Does anyone know if this is a problem and how long it will take to retract?

I am more than happy to take him back to the vet if necessary but he is VERY squirmy when being examined and she found it difficult to see into his eye. I am loathe to take him back if this is just a minor problem and it will retract naturally.

He is very well other than this little problem, very bouncy, cheeky (in fact downright rude sometimes), eating, sleeping and springing all as normal. He doesn't seem bothered by it, not scratching or rubbing it.
