Purely theoretical (DH would never go for it), but what type of dog would go well with my cocker/springer cross? He's quite small (more cocker than springer), so ideally something of similair or smaller size. We walk for between an hour/2 hours a day through woodland and across fields. Nothing too barky, or nervy, and must be able to be left without destroying the house (jasper tends to just kip). This is theoretical, but I'm curious. If you have a spaniel and another dog, what's your other dog and how does it compare?
