Tesco pet insurance seems to get good reports...any other ones I should look into or that you would recommend? Thanks!

Make sure you get lifetime cover read every last word of all the tiny print before you sign up regardless of who you go with.

NONONONO!!! Try Kennel Club maybe?

We insure our cat and dogs with John Lewis we've claimed twice and they pay very quickly. The vets are very positive about it we don't have to settle in advance unlike some others who are asked to settle in advance.

We're insured with the pdsa. Our lurchergirl needed to have an inch of my tail amputated last month (ca. £350), we only paid the excess (£70) and the vets dealt directly with the insurance for the remainder.

Petplan covered for life - we've claimed 2 or 3 times and have never had any issues. Make sure you don't go with some one just because they're cheaper: having pet insurance is worthless if they've got loads of loopholes written into the T&C that means they won't payout when you actually need them. As Lone said read the T&C over and over.

I rate cover for life, at least 7000 cover, no cap on individual conditions. pet plan excellent, m and s I think are ok, axa too. e and l are ratbsgs. you pay more for better insurance ... worth every penny.

kennel club - for life policy. Pretty much all singing all dancing one. Have been caught out by insurance small print in the past. Never again.
