Pet Insurance- any reccomendations?

Dog is a small rescue dog who is quite young.

Animal friends is good. Direct line are also good at paying out but increase the premiums every year even without a claim!

Just make sure it is lifetime cover. Direct line are very slow to pay vets direct and animal friends have some quite dubious policies in their small print related to being underwritten previously by E&L.

We refuse to claim direct from either Direct Line or E+L. That tells you all you need to know about their record for paying up.
My own animals are with Petplan. They are expensive compared to some, but I have never had them be unreasonable about a claim for my own or my clients animals.
