Now it's summer, I'm worrying about winter dog-walking!

Our Springer x pup will be in full-on 'loon' mode in the depths of the coming winter - about 18 months old.

He has two walks each day, of about an hour each, off lead chasing anything and everything.

But - winter is looming! What does everyone do when you walk your dog in the dark? I have to take him out and back before 8am and we won't be able to go out again most days until after 5pm. I work from home and I'm around all day.

Do you just take torches, luminous collar and leads? Are there such things as glow in the dark toys?

Am I worrying and over-thinking, as usual?

I've got a flashing light collar for the little dog, who I fear will turn into a loon at winter time. I got it from Amazon £9.99

The big dog is less of a loon and doesn't run to far unless I am right next to him, or running along side him.
Ds1 usually takes him for a run in winter.

I'm quite sure little dog will never be ready to do that :(
