We're not collecting our pup until the end of August so thought I'd canvas opinion now and weigh it up.

For £9.99 the local vet offers:
Course of Initial Vaccinations ? including Kennel Cough if necessary
Flea Control for 12 months
Worming Treatment for 12 months
20% Discount on Neutering
Microchip
3 Health Checks during this 12 month period
20% Discount on DAP and Feliway products which help to relieve fear and anxiety in pets
20% Discount on selected Lifetime care drugs
Plus 10% off all other products and services today and everyday

They also offer a discount on Hills pet food but after reading all the discussions about food on here I think I'll go for something like Burns.

So have any of you paid a monthly fee or do you just pay as you go?

I've checked and their rates are much of a muchness with the other vets around here and I used them until my gorgeous old cat died. 3 trips to the vets, initial vaccinations and flea stuff would pretty much cover the yearly amount I reckon.
