About 2 weeks our 10 year old rescue mongrel starting licking his legs and tummy continuously until they got raw. Vet prescribed Stronghold for mange (we were on holiday in Devon not usual vet). Has not helped, dog has large red raw matches all over, have done medicated baths, seen our vet twice, is on antibiotics and more Stronghold. As soon as sores start to improve he licks or scratches at them again. Put a buster collar on him but that is so depressing he just seems to lose interest in life with it on. Anybody got any ideas or similar experience?
