My friend has lost his tiny dark brown/black miniature Dachshund. She weighs less than 5lb. Answers to the name of Bridget, and is microchipped.
She ran away from a property in the village, and was last seen in Billing Bear lane, four days ago. There is a reward offered, she's very special and very much missed. If anyone has any information, please PM me.
I've posted in the chat as well for more coverage.

Come home Bridget!
Have you called vets or local rescues/dog wardens?

Scuttlebutter · 03/07/2012 18:35

Has she posted on DogsLost? FB? Ring round ALL the dog wardens in a 20 mile radius, not just the one for the Council you are in. Also try Vets surgeries, and any independent rescues in the area. Try to get pics of her onto Breed Rescue pages on FB too, and any other local websites, papers. Posters in area. Do everything you can to make her too hot to handle. If she is chipped and especially if she is spayed emphasise this on posters (this will reduce her value to thieves).

Contact local street cleansing departments every morning to see if any dead dogs picked up - not all Councils scan dead dogs for chips and many do not attempt to contact owners, even if wearing ID. Sad Angry

Good ideas, thanks. He's posted reward signs, put a large ad in the local paper, rung everyone he can think of. I'll pass these ideas on too.

Have they tried Binfield Dog Resuce and Diana (something or another) Dog Rescue rehoming centre which is also near by?
Probably have but as you are local ish to me though I'd mention it!

Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks. I'm making a list of suggestions. We're actually in north Essex. He was staying with a friend. Sad he had to come home without her!
