feeling sad for pimmsdog

Pimmsdog had his bits removed today. He cried when I left him at the vets, they said he was very good and is so lovely. He is now wearing the cone of shame and it is so big he is struggling to walk without banging it into something. He looks so sad and sorry for himself and since picking him up just after 3 I haven't seen his tail wag once, not even when DD came in from school. He is just so :(

Please tell me he won't hate me forever

He won't hate you forever :) if he's not licking his stitches he should be ok not to wear the cone.

He has to wear it. He was out playing in the woods yesterday (last dose of freedom) and cut his leg, the vet has put a dressing on it (after cleaning it up) and hence his cone of shame is larger than needed so that he can't chew his leg either (he chewed a bald patch last night where the cut was)

Ahh ok. Bless him, he should be ok soon though and he won't hate you! He probably doesn't know what happened tbf!

If he's anything like my dog, he'll be leaping about like a loon tomorrow and you'll be trying to convince him he's just had surgery
