I have some fresh raw sardines. Can I feed them to my 3 month old lab pup?

Not all at the same time obviously but could I feed her a bit and freeze the rest?

She is normally on dry food.

Thanks

I don't know about fresh sardines, but I have been feeding canned whole sardines to my pups since they were, well, 4 weeks old. They love it!

Some dogs love sardines however there are a few that will throw them up again just as quickly as they have eaten them!

I would give her a small bit and see how she gets on.

Whaaaat! Wasted on the dog. but won't do any harm if you really can't bear to eat them yourself

Thanks. If I do freeze some would I be able to feed them to her frozen?

They are out of date today. They were reduced in tesco so I picked them up and dh said "Sardines?! What are you going to do with them?"

I replied that I had no idea but they were only 43p!

Might as well feed them to the dog!

CBA cooking them when it is only me that will eat them. And have promised kids chips tonight.

Mind you, I could do one for myself...

Get em under the grill and eat em yourself.

Wasted on a bloody dog (imo)

I'm with Fishybits,,,eat them yourself, and give the pup a wee taste to see if she likes them

Our dogs won't eat them raw but love them cooked, no idea why as they eat everything else raw! Poos will be a bit sloppy so start of with small amounts.
