New puppy advice... Is this normal??

Our puppy is 8 weeks old. We have had him for 3 days and he is incredibly placid, he doesn't mouth or bark but he isn't timid either. I am wondering if we are very lucky or does the mouthing/nipping start a bit later? Thanks!

Ours has just had her first birthday (:

She started to majorly chew when she was teething, I think she was about 6 months.

She didn't start barking proberly until about 8months. She became a lot more vocal the older she got.

She was generally very playful and liked to play a lot to begin with.

Mouthing and chewing generally starts seriously when they start teething which shouldn't be for a few weeks yet.

Good luck!

give it a couple more days....ime pups of this age are on their very best behaviour for the first week, and then all hell breaks loose! :D

Mouthing starts with teething (and beyond!!) neither of mine bark really or make much noise. They are mental in other ways!!
