We hope to go up to London on Sunday to watch the Pageant - don't want to leave the dog at home and looks like the weather is going to be alot cooler than of late .

Travelling by train .

Would you take your dog up to London this weekend ?

She's a two year old lab.

leave her home.
it will be very busy on the roads and on the trains. not fair on the dog and all the spectators.

No. She will be miserable, and you won't be able to enjoy it because you'll be worrying about her.

Leave her at home.

I understand about it maybe not being fair on the dog - but why not fair on the spectators ?

spectators might not appreciate the dog slobber/barking/dirty dog paws/stolen food (not saying that your dog is prone to that!), that being in a crowd with a dog might bring.

Sleepydog, I have two dogs and live in central London, I can see why you want to take your dog but honestly I would leave her home. Itll be so busy up there and even though its going to be cooler itll be hot down at the bottom for doggy! The chances of people tripping over your dog or walking into her are large. And thens theres the practicalities if your dog needs the toilet!!! (seriously along the river on Sunday will be a nightmare, I`ve decided to go the other way, out of the area, Im remembering millenium night - nightmare!!!).

OK - major re think here then - it will be a long day for her to be left at home - maybe need Plan B

Kongs, kongs and more kongs and a treatball (maybe a kind neighbour?).

I imagine her paws would get stood on a lot. I really wouldn't do it. Have you got anyone who could pop in and let her out in the day?

No no no no. It will be sooooooo busy and pretty rainy too.
