Bit of a long shot. I remember reading on here, I think it was a link to a blog, about a dog that had been given up, possibly on FB/Freecycle. Some months later ex owner had a call from a vet asking if she was still the owner as dog had been bought in close to death. Dog had been used as 'bait'
Horrible story 
and I want to use it if I can to try and persuade a friend NOT to advertise his dog on FB - he won't listen. Keeps telling me his 'friends' aren't like that etc - fact that I know full well half his FB 'friends' are people he barely know is irrelevant apparently. Guy is an arse, but I still want to try.
Certain the story I remember would have been posted by someone like Doin' or Val (will ask Val on FB too).
Can anyone help?
