Dog weeing after castration.

Dog was castrated on Thursday and has now started weeing, he has one it twice on the spare bed. I only got everything washed and dried yesterday and again he has done it this morning at seven am. He didnt bark to go out. He also did it on the kitchen floor when my DD was getting ready to take him out yesterday first thing. Is this normal after castration and will it stop. How can I stop him doing it on the bed again. He has been good up to now and always waited to wee outside.

I don't think it is a common side effect of neutering, but it wouldn't hurt to have him checked by a vet if it carries on.

I expect it is hurting him to wee, and is holding on before going, so when it gets too to point he can't hold on any longer, he is just weeing where he is

We have kept a close eye on him today and he has been fine. Another side effect he is eating like a horse. He would get a mix of wet and dry food and eat the wet food and only eat the dried food later, now he is eating everything and looking for more. He has to go back to the vet on Thursday so will ask advice then.
