There's more dogs affected than the article states. A woman a few doors up from us nearly lost her dog because he ate one of these sandwiches.
I'm terrified to let my dogs loose walking. Both have an excellent "leave it" command, but often they are half way through eating the horse poo something before I notice.
The worst thing of all is I have an uneasy feeling about a possible culprit, but no hard evidence to back it up and certainly not enough to risk someone being falsely accused, just a bad feeling about it all.
