I use it, and can recommend it especially if your dog has a delicate stomach. It doesn't have any bulky fillers so less mess to clear up from the garden as well. My dogs are very active and I've found the recommended amounts a little low, so if you are weighing the food also keep an eye on your dog's weight and feed a bit more if he is too lean.

Viking is very similar to Burns, but a bit cheaper and they deliver free. Vikingpetfood.com

My 10 week old golden retriever is on it, started by the breeder and we are continuing with it. She seemed fine on it apart from this morning. She has had 3-4 poos do far and one of them was blood streaked. Don't think it's the feed though

It's a good food and I can think of no reason to bring up a puppy on it. I have done the same with three of mine.

I always feed the very best I can afford to puppies; they grow so much so fast, I think it's important.

I used Burns for my pup for his first few months with us - he was absolutely fine on it, lovely shiny coat, fit and healthy etc. But - Oh, the wind! Could clear the room!

We had to change to JWB for our nostril's sake

Which just goes to show all dogs are different, as I switched to Burns to (successfully) get rid of wind, runny tummy, and voluminous poos!!!

I think it's a case of pick a good quality that guarantees best quality ingredients and no nasties, and if it doesn't suit try a different one. Bear in mind suddenly changing food will in most cases cause an upset tummy at first, so switch gradually.
