Sorry was working as well yesterday - I can multitask.
Well I was the last dog in the last class of the day in my ring. One of the members of my club who has been to several shows stayed with me. We got our record book and got measured during that time. I walked to course felt good, checked in on the ring sheet, waited patiently whilst the multiple standard dogs went. I was the only dog in my size so they go to check me in where is your run card - I haven't got one, oh you need to go back to the secretarys tent and get one, rush back no you are a prebooked dog it is in the ring box, but they gave me one any way. Rush back to the ring and the ring steward is going where is mobile mop who was pre-entered - yes that would be us.
So maybe not quite a relaxed start he jumped beautifully, I off course was not quick enough directing twice so he was a little confused and he jumped of the dog walk twice (we train on wood so I think the different surface through him to start with) I then walked him on just holding his collar and he went over beautifully. So I was disqualified, but all things considered it went well. I will be coming again and having watched so steeplechases I think I will have a go at them too.
