Summer 2010 puppies - how are your nearly 2 year old dogs?

As I always remember being told that dogs calm down around 2 years old, that means our little lot should be ready to chill out in the next few months Grin

I've got Teddy, the springer spaniel and I'm pleased to say he is pretty calm. He still goes mental when he sees other dogs as he just loves to play. He is a bit calmer when he sees children and although I panic, he doesn't tend to jump all over them any more.

He is very good in the house, although he does like to chew up socks. He is definitely fully grown, and what a big springer he is too! He weighs about 21kg and is very tall.

So, hows others getting on (if you are still on MN that is!) I assume some of you will be.

I have a nearly 2 year old and he hasn't done any calming down yet. He's only just grown up physically (and not a big breed) I think we expect too much too soon from young dogs and some stay puppyish much longer than others.
