Advice please!!! Bumble keeps barking at windowcleaner when he is cleaning windows! Also doesnt like bicycles!

I had the window cleaner here this morning. Bumble spent the whole time on the bay window snapping and snarling everytime wc cleaned any part of the windows!
Also Bumble hates bicycles. If he is on the lead with me and someone cycles past then he wil leap out at the bike which is awful! HELP!!!

We had the same issues with our gardener (don't judge me, I live in the middle east). I basically just had treats on me whenever he came round for the first few times and conditioned the dog to accept him as a good thing by treating her for being quiet while she sat and watched him out the window. Works a treat!

Thanks for that advice. I wouldnt judge you dont worry. I have suggested that next time they come they come in for their cup of tea (i always make them one) and then let Bumble out to see them. WC wasnt very happy and told me that i needed to be the boss not Bumble!

It is not the window cleaner Bumble doesn't like ie if he met him out and about he would not bark at him. It is what he is doing - coming too close to him and his house.

The simple solution would be to have Bumble in another room when the windows are being cleaned.

Re bikes - when you see a bike click and treat - whatever the reaction from Bumble - preferably click before he is lunging etc - eventually Bumble will see a bike and turn to you for the treat. sorted!
