Anyone listening to 5live? The sports reporter walks refuge dogs in his spare time

And has been talking for a few weeks about how lovely it is. Nicky Campbell has been going on about what a great idea it is so is going to go too this afternoon and want to be a volunteer walker too.

It isn't a report, just a 'what are you doing this weekend' filler but I thought it was all very positive and raises awareness just a touch.

I was going to do this after my german shepard died, but I was too upset at seeing all abandoned the dogs in the kennels. I just wanted to take them all home!
It is a really worthwhile thing to do, especially if you like dogs, aren't in a position to actually have one and miss the daily walks with them.
I ended up rehoming two rescue dogs.

They did antihero item again this morning and interviewed the woman who ran the rescue centre. She said she was pleased because 'if it just stopped one person buying a puppy from the Internet....etc etc'
