Just looking for opinions and experiences really?
Someone suggested it for Rollo (one yr old golden retriever who now runs 3 fields away after game birds and rabbits if I let him off lead).
However, I hadn't planned on castration at all as he's not (yet!!) into following females, has passed through the hump everything in sight phase and has a lovely temperament - slightly submissive, never aggressive, great with people and dogs.
Obviously now working hard on recall training but wondered if castration would help?
