He's a 9 year old golden retriever. He's been losing weight for past few weeks, and DH is insisting it's something serious. I'm in denial. Yesterday he starting having diarrhea and then blood in it . Just went to give the kids a bath and he had it on the kitchen floor, so he doesn't have much control, does he.

I can't stop crying....

Will call vet in the morning and am sure she'll see him right away...

Took him this morning and he's lost a ton of weight. Since June, the last time he was weighed at the vets, he has lost about 8 kilos .

She gave a very thorough examination, couldn't feel any lumps/tumors, but took blood, and I brought in a stool sample.

Just called for the results and the nurse says that the internal results are back, the ones they do at the vets and she will call me back soon...

Think I'll have .
