eric's claw is bleeding what do I do?

obviously bathe it but then what? I guess he cant go for his walk. the claw is definatly still attached and it doesnt seem to be hurting him.

Can you ring the vet just to ask advice? I think they can bleed a lot from foot injuries, but they're not often serious. Has he just pulled the nail?

he must have pulled the nail, we decided to take him for wlak anyway and clean it up when we got back, he seems fine now definatly not still bleeding. funny getting back home to a soaked dh and dog though, he hasnt cleaned him before.

Did you use salt water when you bathed it? This is what vets recommend.

yes I did. well dh did, that is the most hands on dh has ever been. guess I need to keep bathing it and check it doesnt get sore.
