Can I ask some advice from dog lovers...I always had dogs in mÅ· life since I was 2 I have had at least 3 dogs at every stage in my life. Jack Russell, border collie and a wee heinz variety who was the best dog ever. Heres the dilemma, my partner has only ever had goldfish and a hamster..he doesnt particularly like dogs but our sons who are nearly 2 and 13 would love one (me too!!!) I work 2 days a week so I would be there most of the time.

We live in the countryside and can have a kennel outside if needed, an advice appreciated.

wait until the toddler is older, we have cats and a toddler and the cats are so patient but the baby does poke and annoy them. I wouldnt risk a dog yet personally, better to get off to a great start when everyone understands the rules.
