Bathe it with boiled, cooled salty water every couple of hours and if it's still gunky by Monday I'd recommend a trip to the vet.

thats what i was going to do :)

its not bothering him, he isnt rubbing his eye at all, and he usually loves a rub.

he did spend a lot of time rolling his head in the mud over the fields, so suspect he has irritated it since this morning.

we went to the vets. am now £25 lighter plus used my £20 credit at the vets.

he has an infection, no ulcer thank goodness, and a weeks worth of eye drops. he was very good and let the vet do everything she needed.

Mine's got eye drops at the moment. He's being so good about them. It takes two of us to pin dd down if she ever needs them. Dog just sits and lets me do it!
