12 week old puppy is in his crate at night. I go to bed at 10 30 so puppy has a toilet trip just before. At 5 30am, he then starts wimpering. I don't want him to wee in the crate so I go downstairs to let him out. We are then up for the day. I am sooooooo tired.

What would you do? A) ignore the wimpering till 7,
B) get up and let him out and then return him to the crate,
C) do the same as B) but give him his breakfast or
D) just start your day at 5 30 and hope he wakes up later when his bladder gets bigger?

At his age, I was still getting up at 2am to take ours out for a wee, and she's quite a big dog (bigger bladder). Maybe he's still to young to hold it in that long?

I was proactive about taking ours out before she barked or whined, as I didn't want to train her to wake us up!
