and has had one bout of runny poo.

When I was taking him for a walk on Tuesday night he snaffled a chicken bone he picked up from the pavement near a take-away before I could stop him (why are human beings so dirty? Angry.

Is it likely to be this? What can I do? Vet now?

Vet Now.

I'm assuming it was a cooked bone, so there is some danger. It's probably nothing to worry about but better to be safe than sorry.

Let us know how you get on.

Was there any blood in the poo?

If there wasn't I'd wait 24 hours and see how he goes. It could well have just made him feel a bit queasy with a runny bum. Don't give him any food, just leave water down.

If he starts to vomit, drink more than usual or drool a lot, do the praying stretching thing a lot ie front legs out, chest to floor and bum in the air or breathe faster than normal, I would phone the vet straightaway.

Thankyou.

No blood in poo. He seems fine in general.
