Any books anyone can recommend for puppy training? Thinking of getting a kc or cocker spaniel, or are puppy classes the best way to go?

We got gwen bailey's perfect puppy book. We also take our pup to classes once a week as well as we found he was quite easy to train at home but we wanted him to meet lots of other dogs and still be able to do his commands when there are other things about to distract him.
