My dogs don't get fed :(

They must resort to eating frozen chips and sweetcorn that have fallen out of the freezer, along with stale bread stolen from the bin and plain flour and tea bags procured off the worktops Sad (and that is just todays haul, so far)

I have three dogs. I put perfectly good tripe mix and biscuits into three bowls, twice a day and place the bowls in what I assumed was my dogs eating areas, but clearly my dogs are not getting the benefit from this food.

If they were then surely I wouldn't have to spend my whole day sheparding them away from bins and removing stolen treasures from their beds/the floor.

I'm not sure who is eating the tripe mix. Maybe phantom dogs break into the house at feeding time and eat the food? Maybe it is the JRT that likes to sit on my doorstep or maybe giant rats that only like dog food? Does anyone else have this problem or is it just something my dogs must cope with?

We must have the same phantom dog that steals my Doodles food too.

Turn you back ans he's got something. He's currently trying to eat a very large, heavy fleece blanket as I obviously don't feed him!

Staffy boy isn't food driven fussed!

Phantom Hound clearly visits our house too Hmm

Otherwise, why would well fed, full-of-treats Mouse be eating CAT POO out of the flower-bed??!?

Not to mention dd's ham sandwich, all crumbs, and half dh's shoe.

I vote for an anti-Phantom Hound law.

ah yes, Loo is not at all interested in stealing food unless it is cakes, which he stands guard at the oven for! Its hilarious to see, it must remind him of puppydom as the breeder used to bake most days... well thats my amateur phycologist thoughts on the matter. Grin

Pupstar is a stealer of everything, well she was until she put her paws on the worktop and a pile of baking trays fell on the floor making a huge noise and startled her. (I had been looking for something and left baking trays out on worktop) She now only snuffles whatever is on the floor - or dining table.

I have a phantom hound. It seems to eat all of Jasper's kibble, treats, rawhide chews and carrots. Then my poor pup is forced to be the 'hovering head of doom' at the dinner table, eyes rolling back in his head and tongue rolling out to try and snaffle stray peas. It's a terrible thing.
