Can't walk dog and feel terrible

Its only temporary, but I feel so bad for him and it's such lovely dog walking weather. I've done something to my shoulder and am in agony. Can barely move my arm at all. Can't drive and wouldn't be able to use a lead. It's only been two walk-less days. DH worked late last night but will be able to take him on lead this evening, and then can take him somewhere nice at the weekend, or maybe I'll be okay tomorrow. Just wanted to share my guilt, that's all. He has a nice new bone that he's pleased with.

Don;t beat yourself up! Obviously you have plans for walkies at the weekend and a few days will not do him any harm. Have you got a neighbour or friend you could ask if it is long term? Hope you deel better soon.

Hope you feel better soon, there is nothing worse than the guilt of non dog walking when you are ill. Sad

Dogs usually want to be with their family, whether out for a walk or hibernating when owner ill. Mine just curls up with me when I'm ill and we make up for the lack of exercise later. A few days won't hurt him.

Guilt has gone now. He's had a great day playing with friends' dog and boys after an off lead walk. He's so tired now!
