My dog had an operation on Monday and was given a two week course of antibiotics to have twice daily with meals. He's just thrown up about 30-40 minutes after having his meal. Should I try and give him another dose of the antibiotics? Or should I just wait until his next meal? He also has the runs. I am pretty sure he won't eat another meal but he might eat a piece of chicken with the tablets in. What do you think?
He isn't showing any other signs of distress and has just settled down nicely. Sometimes he vomits if he eats/drinks too much at once, so I'm not too worried about it, apart from the fact it means he's missed one dose of antibiotics.
