Dogs balls retracting up penis shaft. Is this normal?

He looks like one of those snakes that has eaten something massive :-O

I have noticed it a couple of times when he is lying down sleeping and they drop back into place when he stands up. It doesn't seem to bother him at all.

He is a 9 month old chihuahua who will be getting snipped when finances permit.

Does this sound normal?

Sounds like this is the normal swelling of the glans penis, not his balls, look up canine reproduction diagram.. sorry got to run and collect from school. No need to worry.

It is two spheres though and his testicle sack feels empty .
