Tug a jug - am I really dim?

Are you supposed to get the rubber ball bit off at the top to fill it, or am I right in painstakingly dropping in one bit of kibble at a time? Gives a good opportunity to train waiting patiently, but takes nearly as long to fill as it takes him to empty it!

You need to unscrew the bottom of the bottle bit

Hey! The bottom unscrews! Brilliant. Honestly, it was taking me ages. I'm so glad I posted that stupid message. All his meals can be from that now!

Tug a jug was brilliant, till Mouse decided the rope was fun to chew Hmm

No point anymore, he just eats the ropes!

minimuu · 03/01/2012 14:01

lol Grin no wonder the dogs find it hard to use

You can still use it without the rop, either add new rope or put in a small ball that will not come out of the top. The dog then has to push and tilt the jug to get the ood out. Some dogs don't need anything in the top and still find it hard to get food out - not naming which breeds thoughGrin

minimuu · 03/01/2012 14:01

ood = food

Elibean · 03/01/2012 14:42

Ah - genius! Will try small ball to stop the ood Grin

Mouse is not a hugely bright dog, but where food is concerned he seems to gain brain-power Hmm

minimuu · 03/01/2012 17:59

obviously the small ball only works for ood - you may have to think of another plan if you use common old food Grin

This is funny! Tug a jug completely confused our husky and he just kept staring at me with baleful eyes - 'get the food out for me pleeeeaase'.
