I wanted a wee show and tell for the kids today for when the pups open their eyes so I thought lazy me I would copy and paste something from the Internet and we'd do questions later (kids love this yup weird kids) well I already know its 10 days but could be longer depending on size and breeds. Our breed it's 10 days

In my defence I am shattered as I have been doing night shift with mummy and pups for 8 days now. Great Dane can be clumsy hence the staying up but that aside. I was having a wee read and had to do a double take on what was written. Only handle the pups when they have opened their eyes and ears this is when you socialise them, which to me means that they have had no human interaction at all for roughly 2 weeks which is poppy cock. From the minute the pups are born they have human and mum interaction cos your dog has to fucking trust you in the first place in case anything goes wrong which can happen. Also human interaction is good from birth for pups and mum so she knows we won't harm the pups so she won't bite if it's her first litter also for the pups are not aggressive or frightened etc etc.

I know it's frivolous but it pissed me off reading it. So I have now done my own show and tell for the kids, teach me for being lazy eh!!!

Just me having a rant.
