We've found a breeder that we're happy with and are on the list for a pup in the Spring. Anything I should watch out for? Any experiences to share?

Fab dogs! They are growlers and its not nasty growls but chatting. I've never had one who hasn't been able to say hello, or more accurately 'herrooo'. They are very expressive and love hiding in dark corners. I wish I called mine bagpipe because she makes funny noises when we squeeze and tickle her. They are very very loyal and have a favourite in the house.

Thanks for the info. We have a 3 year old Westie and she does the growly-chat thing too so we're accustomed to that way of "communicating". Sounds like there are quite a few similarities...
