...and she has completely reverted in her toilet training Xmas Angry

She is ten months old now, but I'm still cleaning up puddles and picking up poop in the house, because she simply refuses to go outside when the weather is bad.

Any suggestions?

How big is she?

I have a Minature Schnauzer and he hates heavy rain, I have to pick him up and take him outside. He knows he can't go back in until he at least pees, so, he is pretty quick and then we sprint for the house togetherXmas Grin

Do you have a garden? Can you go out with her, shielding her a bit with an umbrella?

The other option is to get one of those indoor toilets for dogs and train her to use that. At least you won't have to clean up in random places.

Big golf umbrella? We keep one at the back door, the reluctant toileter is marched outside under said umbrella straight to the bottom of the garden, when all is done, treat given and marched back in.. having said that our latest pup stands in the rain looking up at the sky and staring at it, she is sodden by the time she decides to come in, so we do the same golf umbrella with her just to keep her and the house dry!

Sympathies. Mouse becomes a Sugar Mouse when it rains, and although he has never pooped in the house we have had occasional puddles indoors on rainy days - and not rain water ones, either Hmm

I either take him out and stand in the rain till he does what he needs to do, or throw a morsel of ham onto the lawn - he'd brave a monsoon for ham. Once out, he gets on with it (and I close the door till he does Blush).
