I bought some food for a friend including some bics. Dh left the bag out and one of the dogs ate 2 large packets of shortbread. I put some different bics in the bag as a replacement and put the bag away in the larder. Lo and behold I have just discovered the empty packet of choc digestives being licked by a greedy pup. Grrrrr. I am annoyed with the dogs, and feel annoyed with being aske to look after someone elses food day in day out.

All our food has to be kept in very high cuboards. Greyhound girl regularly finds and steals and opens Shock jars of peanut butter. She can smell it a mile off if you forget to put it away. The cereal has to be kept on top of the plate cuboard and the bread on top of the microwave. The butter is kept in the microwave.

She has not, yet, worked out how to open the fridge. Give her a few more months and I am sure she will figure it out.

She's also eaten here way into the recycling cuboard. The terrier has turned it into a kennel now there is handy hole in the door Hmm

I'm just really angry today. The dogs have wrecked our bedsheets, and mending them is a form of torture. One dog may have a cruciate ligament injury and is climbing the walls with boredom, another had projectile diarreah and was off his food. He is now eating again. Our old girl is just stiff. Meanwhile a friend has just shacked up with someone who used to beat her up...I am bloody fed up with today.

You poor thing. I hope there's someone around to look after you. Even if you just do one pleasant thing for yourself today, be sure and do it. Caring without end is exhausting.

Sounds like a shit day silentcatastrophe Sad not the dogs fault though although it may seem like it.

Have you got time to go and have a good head clearing walk with them?

Our food is also always in cupboards - it is now habit- I find myself going around to friends houses and subconsciously putting any food on the sides in their cupboards! Even their fruit bowls

How did they wreck your bed sheets!

Hope things get better and if all else fails have a Wine or two

They have used our bedroom and our bed as part of their playground. Our fault of course, but still the end of our sheets. We were used to having a couple of old dodderers but Toby has given them a spring in their steps.
Toby can't go for a walk until he's seen the vet later in the week. Our bitch has been in the fridge and eaten all the bacon. I give up.
