Help - any Norfolk dog lovers out there?

H left me last night for someone else, I've got a 3 and 1 year old and a lovely black lab bitch. I'm in a state and need to concentrate on the DC's, is there anyone out there who could provide a medium term home for my dog? She's 6 years old and very gentle, doesnt bark and is a lovely family pet. I would provide food and pet insurance. Thank you for any help you can give.

The fairest thing for your dog is to get in touch with Labrador Lifeline who cover Norfolk and ask them to help by finding temporary foster care - they may or may not be able to help, but are in the best possible position to advise you.

Although I am sure your entire world is on it's head, maybe put off making the decision for a week or two so you are quite sure it's the right thing to do. She may be a blessed distraction for you all in a few days time and offer some constant company during the difficult times you no doubt have ahead of you.

I am sorry you are in such a difficult position.

Where abouts in Norfolk are you? We are in South Norfolk. I would love to be able to help. I can't help directly though as we have a bit of a houseful.

Thank you. I think it's best is I keep her for the time being as it will be even more unsettling for DS's if dog leaves as well. Friend is walking her for me. Need to think it through over next few weeks. I'm not giving her any attention or affection though, just going through the motions. Thanks again x
