East Midlands Dog Rescue - Help Needed

Hi everyone, not sure if I can post this here or not, just wanted to ask you to check out www.eastmidlandsdogrescue.org (if it doesn't link properly it's because I'm on my phone)

Sandy, the lady who has run the rescue for over 20 years and a friend of my Aunty is in need of help. She rescued a dog from a pound that she has just found out has parvo, it has infected other dogs at the rescue centre, including a bitch who has just given birth to a litter of puppies. Fortunately no dogs have been lost yet but the vets bill is currently over 8k, if anyone can help or has any items to donate if they live locally for their charity shop please bear them in mind, thank you

I have spoken to the people at the rescue this evening. They are unsure of how long it will be before the website is ammended to include a donations area.

In the meantime, anybody wishing to make a donation is being asked to call the Hinckley branch of Feldon Vets www.feldonvets.co.uk so people know that it is being done securely and that the money is going to the right place. I appreciate that people may not feel comfortable donating this way and would rather wait until the website has been changed. For those wanting to make a donation through the vets please use the telephone number for the Hinckley branch on the website and quote 'east midlands dog rescue fund'. If you would like to please feel free to leave your name and address so that east midlands dog rescue can send thank you cards out as this is something that they would like to do. Many thanks
