I have a one year Jack Russell who weighs in at 3kg! He has 3 meals a day but wont put weight on, he also likes to sleep with my 9yr old rabbit which someone said was not normal. how much should he weigh? and what about the rabbit? is it normal?

No idea how much he should weigh but that doesn't sound big! Have you checked with your vet? The rabbit - well 'normal' for a terrier would certainly not be sleeping with a rabbit - more like eating it Grin - but if he's known him from a puppy then I guess he's just a fellow creature not 'prey'. I'm not sure I would trust them together though tbh.

Bruno (small dog big name) came to live with us at 5weeks he weighed 600g at the time. (his mum had lost intrest in her puppies and had stopped feeding them) he just took a liking to the rabbit. I have taken him to the vets and they said as long as hes eating theres no worries but he is so small, when he stands on his back legs he barely reaches my knee!

He may well stay small. A friend had a prem. King Charles spaniel, he was always 2/3 the size of her daughters normal one.

a friend's jrt sleeps with her rabbit when they are out. it is unusual but not unheard of. i think its lovely, they keep each other company
